Authorities Investigating Fatal Crash and Carjacking in Wesley Chapel

According to the FHP, law enforcement responded to the area of the Wawa at State Road 54 and Wesley Chapel Blvd for a fatality involving a crash with a motorcycle. The suspect that crashed and killed the motorcyclist fled the scene, then carjacked a victim at the gas station, and fled in their vehicle.
The motorcyclist, 26-year-old Angel Rodriguez Fiallos of Wesley Chapel, died at an area hospital.

UPDATE:
According to Pasco deputies, they later located the carjacked vehicle, which prompted a pursuit.
Deputies eventually recovered the vehicle on Knights Griffin Road in Hillsborough County and took a woman into custody.
The Sheriff’s Office says Cody Sterling Bearry 30, the driver, fled the scene on foot, but they later found him while searching through the woods and a canal.
The Pasco Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the carjacking incident as the FHP continues to investigate the fatal hit and run crash.
