FBI Child Abduction Training Notification
According to the Meadow Pointe CDD website:
On March 1, 2018, the FBI and Pasco Sheriffs Office will be conducting a very important training for law enforcement in our area. This training prepares law enforcement with the skills and investigative techniques to successfully and responsibly respond to a child abduction. A neighborhood practical exercise will be held in your community on Thursday, March 1st.
This training scenario has been conducted in other places across the country, including Texas, Nevada, Louisiana, Rhode Island, North Carolina, New Jersey, Alabama, New York, Colorado, Arkansas, and Arizona. Each time the training has been conducted, we have utilized members of the community to help out. In this instance, some of your neighbors will be participating as role players.
This notification is to inform you that street practical exercises will be conducted on Thursday, March 1st between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The benefit to the community in preparing law enforcement is immense. We hope that you will assist us in making this training successful.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation. Aside from an increased law enforcement presence, your day-to-day activities should not be interrupted.
If you have any questions please reach out to the Pasco Sheriffs Office liaison officer or your Meadow Pointe III Community Property Manager.
