Shooting reported at Wesley Chapel Waffle House

According to media reports, the shooting occurred at the Wesley Chapel Waffle House restaurant on 5421 Village Market around 5:36 p.m. on Tuesday 4/23/2019.

Authorities said that a round from a small caliber weapon, possibly even a pellet gun, struck the outside glass window.

A female cook inside was struck by the pellet or glass and suffered a wound to her neck.

The employee was taken to a hospital as a precaution.

Pasco Sheriff’s Office Deputies are still investigating.
