From Tamp Tribune:

Three people were arrested Wednesday in connection with a string of Wesley Chapel burglaries, authorities said.

The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office reported that Sarah Zachman, 31, Jamar Thompson, 28, and Christian Quevedo, 25, have been charged with grand theft and burglarizing several businesses and a local school.

Zachman is accused of burglarizing John Long Middle School on May 20. Deputies said electronics valued at $25,100 were taken from the school.

Thompson and Zachman later sold the cameras to pawnshops in the area, the affidavit stated.

The other businesses were all burglarized this month. Quevedo and Thompson are accused of smashing windows and doors to enter the stores and steal televisions, cigarettes, jewelry and lottery scratch-off tickets.

Thompson and Quevedo confessed to the burglaries, according to the affidavit. The three are being held at the Land O’ Lakes jail.

Sheriff’s spokesman Doug Tobin said 12 other business burglaries that could be related are being investigated.

“We anticipate additional arrests as we continue to investigate this case,” he said.

Cash For Gold owner Trevor Campbell said one of the accused came into his store before the burglary and asked about putting something on layaway. Campbell now thinks he was surveying the store.

He said he thinks they traveled around the area and pawned stolen goods at different stores to avoid raising suspicion.
