New Community ‘Palmetto Ridge’ to Transform State Road 52

San Antonio, just north of Wesley Chapel, is set to experience significant growth with the development of a new community at State Road 52 and I-75. The community, named Palmetto Ridge, will span 1,088 acres and feature 2,500 homes. Located two exits north of Wesley Chapel, Palmetto Ridge will be positioned on SR 52 west of I-75.

In addition to residential homes, the development will include 8 acres of retail space, a 42-acre site for a future school, and various community amenities. These amenities will include partially gated areas and a range of CDD and HOA features. Part of Palmetto Ridge will be age-targeted, though not age-restricted, making it a premier community with quick access to I-75.

While this development promises modern amenities and convenient access to major roadways, some residents express concern about the rapid development of Eastern Pasco’s remaining rural areas.

GROSS!! The only transformation that will happen is taking our beloved community to over developed community! Kill the wildlife, kill the trees, take our water!

Please be considerate on those who depend on their wells for water. All this building and 7 acre pools need to not forget us that have been here many years before you came along would not be ignored when it comes to our wells. We love our country feel but since it will soon be a city feeling Be respectful of our basic needs such as water.
