Upcoming Wesley Chapel Events to Help End Human Trafficking




Wesley Chapel, FLThe Shops at Wiregrass is proud to partner with The Human Trafficking Foundation to support two signature events this January and February: The Radiant 5K and 1 Mile Fun Walk and the Light Up the Night Concert. These annual community events will bring awareness to the problem, raise funds for agencies that fight human trafficking, and support survivors.


The Radiant 5k and 1 Mile Fun Walk will be held on January 21st, 2023, at the Pasco Hernando State College Porter Campus in Wesley Chapel, starting at 8 AM. Runners may register individually for the 5K or 1 mile walk, or compete in both events for the Radiant Challenge. On February 4th, 2023, The Shops at Wiregrass will host the Light Up the Night event presented by the David Maus Foundation. This free, family-friendly event will be held at The Shops at Wiregrass, located at the top of the parking garage, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Guests will enjoy an evening with a live concert by Gabriel and Thalia Osorio with Malku Ministry, kids zone, and candlelight ceremony to conclude the event. Both events will raise funds for The Human Trafficking Foundation in their mission to bring awareness to the prevalence of human trafficking, as well as to educate the public of the warning signs of trafficked victims. All proceeds directly support the foundation’s education efforts and victim rehabilitation programs.
